TLK Care offers services that range from in-home assistance with household tasks like cleaning to more advanced life skills development. Our team also carefully matches support workers with individuals so they can enjoy a better life while being as independent as possible.
Accommodation/ Tenancy Assistance
Under the Accommodation/Tenancy Assistance program, we will help participants find a place to call home that is affordable, safe and appropriate. Our service can assist you to obtain or retain suitable accommodation. The NDIS Price Guide provides the complete list of available services offered through this assistance category.
We are ready to support our participants in day-to-day tasks such as:
- Taking up a hobby
- Cooking and nutrition
- Cleaning and laundry
- Going to appointments
- Personal care such as grooming and showering
- Learning to navigate the transportation system
Once you are in suitable accommodation, our other support services can assist you to maintain independence and live your best life.
Household Tasks
The day-to-day work of our support workers is all about helping participants stay independent. Sometimes, this means doing chores. Our support workers will be working both inside and outside the home, depending on what you need throughout each day.
We are prepared to assist participants who are unable to complete home tasks on their own or who require additional supervision, including:
- Grocery shopping
- Garden maintenance
- Planning and preparing meals
- Vacuuming, cleaning and washing
