Sydney – CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs – Healthcare & Medical – Physiotherapy – OT & Rehabilition – $85 per hour + super – Casual/Vacation

Overview:

TLK Care is a growing community-based organisation that currently provide mobile services across Sydney. We provide a range of allied health services and support work to participants under the NDIS.

We are seeking the following allied health professionals to join our team on a casual basis with opportunity to go onto permanent part-time or full time.

  • Podiatrist.
  • Psychologist.
  • Physiotherapist.
  • Speech Therapist.
  • Exercise Physiologist.
  • Occupational Therapist.
  • Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with children and adults.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer progress.
  • Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage a mixed caseload with complex and varied needs.
  • Liaison with NDIS and aged care service providers and plan managers.
  • Deliver holistic healthcare and the ability to liaise with other allied health.
  • Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Delivery of therapeutic services within the resources and hours presented within participants’ individual plan.
  • Improve the wellbeing of people with disability through the delivery of services that are quality, evidence and human rights based.
  • Deliver person centered services by working with families and their support networks gathering insights, building understanding and sharing knowledge.
  • Establish effective and collaborative relationships with all staff, parents, carers, volunteers and other service providers and relevant community members or organisations to ensure their participation in planning, decision making and reporting.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Driven, energetic and professional qualities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with NDIS (preferred but not necessary).
  • Be computer literate and familiar with using customer record systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate your skills and experience in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for supporting people with disabilities and their families in our local community.
  • An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee for service model is desired.

Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements :

  • Police Check.
  • Current NDIS Screening Check.
  • Access to use of own vehicle (KM reimbursement available).
  • AHPRA Registered and Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
