We are here to provide you with the opportunity to explore your passions and interests. We will support participants in going on an outing or holiday, joining a social group, participating in centre-based activities or community outings like bowling groups. This service aims to assist people living with disabilities to access opportunities which enrich their lives with new experiences.

Assistance with Daily Tasks/Shared Living
For those living in disability supported accommodation or supported independent living, there are specialised programs to provide support tailored specifically for their needs. The range of services offered includes one-on-one assistance with cooking dinner and paying bills on time and life skills training that will equip participants with independence over day-to-day activities like getting out of bed without depending on a caretaker.
- Train you on how to live with others and ensure that you can handle your household duties
- If you are a newcomer to living on your own, we can offer assistance moving into your new space
- Teach you how to live well independently, get yourself ready each day, and prepare healthy, wholesome meals
Innovative Community Participation
Participants can connect with other participants who understand what it’s like to be in their situation and work together through a support group. For those who need this service, the program is tailored to help them stay engaged within the community, increase their self-awareness, help them determine skills they have that may lead to finding an occupation and more.
By participating, you can:
- Create a network of friends through socializing and making connections
- Make connections and learn about new resources and activities that you may participate in
- Learn new skills or build on existing ones to make life easier for yourself and give more independence in your daily living routine

Participation in Community, Social & Civic Activities
You will be provided with all of the necessary support for meeting goals related to participating in community, social or recreational activities. We can provide centre based activities or activities in the community to support participants with different needs. We can also help participants access social and community activities through third parties:
- Joining a sports club
- Going on an outing or holiday camp
- Visiting the library, movie theatre, sporting clubs, etc
Group/Centre-Based Activities
We offer socialization opportunities and capacity-building exercises that promote independence through worker-mediated events and peer support groups. Participants may choose to participate independently within the centre’s space, attend one of our facilitator-led sessions, or do both simultaneously. Program activities include:
- Life coaching
- Community access
- Recreational opportunities
- Improved health & wellbeing
- Literacy and numeracy skills building
