The TLK Care Management Team

Thomas
Thomas is a Chartered Accountant and principle of TLK Partners Chartered Accountants, specialising in audit, taxation and accounting advice and strategic business advice for clients in the middle market. Over the past 15 years, Thomas has gained experience in many areas of taxation and business services and has been an integral part of his client’s businesses. Many of these businesses need practical hands-on assistance throughout the growth phase of their businesses. They come from a diverse range of sectors and cover all types of family and business structures and include those in property, retail, and wholesale sectors, legal and medical practitioners, superannuation funds, aged and disability services, religious organisations, restaurants, cafés and franchises and the foreign subsidiaries and branches of international companies. Thomas has earned a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (majoring in Accounting & Finance) with extensive Professional Memberships including Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Member of the Taxation Institute of Australia, Law Society of NSW External Examiner, Registered Tax Agent and Justice of the Peace NSW.

Maria
BA Psych, MAPS and Behaviour Support Practitioner
Maria is a registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner who has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Maria has worked with clients with concerns around depression, motivation, anxiety, stress, relationships and communication among other things.
In addition, Maria has specialist training in working with children, completing assessments and writing reports. She has previously worked with school aged children dealing with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem and behavioural concerns. Maria has undergone extensive trauma training.
She is a firm believer in the utilization of arts, creativity and play in the therapeutic process with children and adolescents.
Maria has written behaviour support plans across different NGO’s for children. She has worked extensively with children with trauma and their families. She has also managed and supervised staff working with foster children in a clinical capacity.
She has also worked on fading out restrictive practices for children.
Maria has also worked in mental health with adults experiencing schizophrenia, bi-polar and other disorders.

Sandra
B.Pharm Grad. Dip. Early Childhood Education
Sandra is a qualified pharmacist and early childhood teacher. With experience in management and HR, Sandra assists in the administration and operations of TLK Care whilst having practical experience in health and the medical field, and development of children in the early years.
